The Morningtide is a folk-worship project created by Oregon native Alex Autio. The project blends down-to-earth mountain music with an alternative worship sound, centered around glorifying Jesus and uplifting the Church. The Morningtide seeks to embrace simplicity, foster encouraging yet authentic lyrical content, and most of all, share the love of Christ with anyone who wants to listen.
The central theme of the project comes from Isaiah 43:19 and 42:6-9, where the Lord speaks to his people who he has called into righteousness- the Lord calls us to him, to open our eyes, to lead us out from the desert, to the new things he declares. In a world so often focused on self, it's good to praise the Lord for what he has done, and use those songs of praise as reminders of his faithfulness when he leads us out into strange territory. I hope and pray The Morningtide will be conducive to intimate worship, an encouragement in times of need, and ultimately another step, no matter how insignificant, to go deeper with the Father.

Isaiah 42:6-9
6 “I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness,
And will hold Your hand;
I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people,
As a light to the Gentiles,
7 To open blind eyes,
To bring out prisoners from the prison,
Those who sit in darkness from the prison house.
8 I am the Lord, that is My name;
And My glory I will not give to another,
Nor My praise to carved images.
9 Behold, the former things have come to pass,
And new things I declare;
Before they spring forth I tell you of them.”
